01: How long does hair take to grow after hair transplant?
Your hair growth cycle determines how fast your new hair will grow back. The hair growth cycle involves a resting phase (telogen) which applies to newly transplanted hair as well. 4 to 6 weeks after the hair transplant, shock hair loss occurs. Within 2-3 months, the newly transplanted hair starts growing back and in 4 to 6 months, about 40% to 60% of the hair regrows. The new hairs might be thin but will gradually grow thicker. In general, the hair growth cycle takes about 12 months and sometimes (mostly in women) 18 months after a hair transplant.
02: What are hair transplant techniques?
There are five techniques of hair transplant:
• FIT or FUE method involves isolating and removing individual follicles from the donor area and transplanting them in the balding area.
• FUT technique is a common procedure during which a thin strip of skin is removed from the back of the head, cut into pieces, and transplanted as individual follicles.
• The SUT method involves using fully automated devices.
• The BHT method uses an area of the body as the donor area, instead of the back of the head.
• The micro-fit or MFIT method is the latest type of the FIT procedure using more sophisticated tools.

03: Can I have a guarantee for my Hair Transplant? What if it fails?
After evaluating your hairs, the medical team can guarantee the results of the procedure.That is, your new hairs will grow in 12 months. The successful outcome of the procedure will maintain for as many years as the surgeon suggests based on your donor hair follicles and your individual circumstances. If you start to lose your new hair before the time suggested by your surgeon, you may return to the clinic for a secondary hair transplantation surgery free of charge.
04: How long is a hair transplant procedure?
The procedure might take between 4 to 8 hours based on the technique used by the medical team.
05: How long do I have to stay in Iran for my hair restoration?
For a hair restoration procedure, you should stay in Iran for at least 3 to 5 days.
06: When is mesotherapy needed?
The mesotherapy procedure is recommended for those who, due to inadequate donor area or weak hair growth, may not be a candidate for hair transplant, yet. Also, people with thinning hair can benefit from mesotherapy.
07: Does hair transplant leave scars?

Nose surgeries are your best option. A nose surgery won’t affect hair transplant procedure and results. You can have a nose job in the same trip that you have hair transplant in.
12: Can I have hair transplant and facial surgeries (that can leave scars) at the same time?
Generally speaking, this is not recommended. You can have a hair transplant about a year after your facial surgery.
13: Does FIT method leave small holes as scars?
Depending on the healing process that varies among people, these scars will fill with scar tissue to some extent. In most cases, the scarring fades away gradually and will be almost invisible.
14: What is the DHI technique?
This technique utilizes a certain implanter device that implants the follicles in the recipient area. In Iran, this method is growing in popularity.
